HBS

The HBS hairpin bender is designed to deliver high flexibility in format changes and in the management of different production mixes. It produces fixed-radius hairpins and straight tubes, with or without flares, easily adapting to a wide range of processing requirements.

Simple tooling operations and the option to install combined bending formers allow processing geometries to be changed in just a few minutes, according to the specific production mix.

The tooling installed for hairpin production can be configured for single or multiple tube diameters, while combined tooling allows different centre-to-centre distances within the same station. When provided, a CMS-patented retractable unit widens the tube on the bending head of straight pieces to create a flared profile, managed directly from the central system control panel.

The tube straightening and orbital cutting units are developed with specific technological solutions to process materials with different properties, such as Cu, Cu/Ni and AISI 304. The HBS hairpin bender is ideal for production environments requiring frequent product changes, fast setup and operational versatility.
