The CLEVER FIXED is a tube bending machine of the CLEVER series with two bending directions and a head for steel tubes with a diameter of up to 25mm. The bending head moves vertically and rotates on its rotational axis until it reaches the tube’s position in the groove. This movement significantly reduces and simplifies the production time and process, respectively. The right and left bends occur on the same bending former containing dedicated planes. The bending direction is reconfigured automatically by the machine’s 8 CNC axes managed by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl. The axes optimise the paths by simplifying the positioning and the release operations. There is also a pneumatic balancing device that reduces the power consumption during the vertical movement and a system for a rapid retraction of the tie rod. Programming is done through a simplified UII software. The machine can be equipped with several optional accessories and can also be connected to the “CRIPPA I4.0” production control and performance system.
