One of the smaller Heavy series, 130HE can bend mild steel tubes with a diameter of up to 130 mm. Like other machines in the Heavy series, the 130HE inherits the high rigidity and precision, superseding other machines of similar size in performance. The bending head is fixed to the base for maximum rigidity during the heavy-duty processes, while the tube strokes vertically and horizontally. The high vertical stroke allows several levels of tools to interface with existing tools. The 130HE’s compact bending head can process complex tube geometries in a single cycle, which would normally require machines with double bending directions. The nine axes of the machine are driven by absolutely digital motors with Full Electric technology controlled by Siemens SINUMERIK 840D. This technology combined with the dual axes guarantees high quality, productivity and energy savings with minimum set-up/startup time and scrap. This machine utilises the “Tangent Boost” device to push the tube axially all the way into the slide/wiper-die during bending, optimising the tube development and reducing scrap even further. The high production rate, the ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio even lower than 0.8, the ability to thrust bends with variable radii make this machine particularly suitable for sectors requiring heavy-duty processing and high levels of precision. Like other machines in the Heavy series, the 130HE uses a three-dimensional graphical sofware for the simulations, the programming, and the optimisation of the bending process. The operator has access to the UII (User ISO Interface) through the 19” LCD touch screen display. This machine is designed to be integrated into Smart Factory system. The option for CNS cutting system is also available.
