he civil and industrial heating and air conditioning sectors have advanced significantly in recent years because of the availability of new technologies (such as condensation boilers) and the environmental demands for energy efficiency and pollution reduction. To meet these demands, we take a technically more complex approach by designing a dedicated product, namely 942SE a tube bending machine dedicated to making custom coils from a spool of coiled tubing. The 942SE is CRIPPA’s answer to the environmental demands, a culmination of CRIPPA’s decades of experience in the HVAC industry. A patented tube loading from the machine’s posterior and tube bending with the mandrel ensure active control, precision, and quality bends over the entire process. Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl controls the 2 tube drive axes, while the rear advancement is actuated by a motorised rollers. The machine also has a double front positioner to guarantee a constant thrust, enabling cycle time optimisation. The vertical opening device of the bending heads facilitates the unloading phase and the processing of non-circular profiles. The machine has a minimum of 10 controlled axes and a modular design capable of processing very long profiles with continuous thrust. 942SE is also designed to integrate into the “Smart Factory” system.
