The new Full Electric SPINright end-forming machine, developed by Crippa as an entry-level solution, integrates up to eight different tools on its rotary table, including two rotating units dedicated to facing, cutting, and chamfering operations.
Designed with an extremely small footprint, the machine processes tubes up to a diameter of 40 mm with an 8-ton deformation force, utilizing an electric clamp with an innovative connecting-rod-crank system that maximizes positioning accuracy and opening/closing speed.
The machine features 3 axes managed by an advanced Siemens PLC and is equipped with an adjustable control panel on a telescopic arm, featuring an intuitive programming editor for both specialized and non-specialized users, and a 3D simulator for preventive collision detection.
The overall ergonomics facilitate equipment assembly/disassembly operations through a quick-release system for clamps and punches that drastically reduces setup times.
Furthermore, it is pre-arranged for an additional clamp intended for geometrically more complex processing.
