The new Full Electric SPINright end-forming machine, developed by Crippa as an entry-level solution, integrates up to eight different tools on its rotary table, including two rotating units dedicated to facing, cutting, and chamfering operations.
Designed with an extremely compact footprint , the machine processes tubes up to 40 mm in diameter with an 8-ton deformation force, utilizing an electric clamp with an innovative connecting-rod-crank system that maximizes positioning accuracy and opening/closing speed.
The machine features 3 axes managed by an advanced Siemens PLC and is equipped with an adjustable control panel on a telescopic arm, featuring an intuitive programming editor for both specialized and non-specialized users, and a 3D simulator for preventive collision detection.
The overall ergonomics facilitate equipment assembly/disassembly operations through a quick-release system for clamps and punches that drastically reduces setup times.
Furthermore, it is pre-arranged for an additional clamp intended for geometrically more complex processing.
