Serpentine bending machine

Flat serpentines are used in numerous applications in HVACR (including heating and cooling systems), household appliances, and renewable energy sector technologies.

SER family serpentine bending machines are CNC-controlled machines dedicated to the production of tube coils in different materials (Cu, S275, AI), including coextruded ones.

The machine configuration can be customized according to the characteristics of the desired product. Depending on the material, type of application, and expected quantities, SMI offers systems capable of feeding, straightening, cutting, and bending from 1 to 26 tubes simultaneously. The quality of the product, even if it is very large or has small thicknesses, is guaranteed by accompanying and supporting units during the coil bending phase.

As needed, the serpentine bending machines can be equipped with shaping units, insertion of caps, introduction of stiffening bushings, tube closing and taping in cycle in fully automatic mode.

All machines are equipped with a user-friendly software interface where the operator is guided on each step of product programming.
