The new Full Electric UPright end-forming machine, developed through the collaboration between SMI and Crippa, houses six forming tools, a rotary unit, and a trimming head within a compact design.
The vertical electro-pneumatic clamp, compatible with both Crippa and SMI equipment, guarantees impeccable stability and facilitates safe loading of extremely small workpieces, while the low profile ensures agile processing and millimetric tapering even close to complex bends.
Perfected for integration into robotic cells and automated lines, the machine is driven by the power of a Siemens S7-1500 control in a TIA Portal V20 environment, featuring an integrated PROFIsafe protocol for maximum precision.
Finally, the electric axis allows for the configuration of variable strokes and sequences in more complex cycles, supported by the reliability of pneumatics.
