OCTA's fleet of machines also includes the FTC Manifold work cell, a machine designed for making and processing manifolds starting from pre-cut bar tube.
This machine is divided into two main units: the first one picks up the tube from the loader and brings it to a programmed position on a base where an electric spindle and a circular saw perform the cuts to size and the various machining operations such as drilling, milling, milling slots and many more.
Once machining is complete, the tube can move to the second unit, which includes a BSR end-forming machine for performing end machining such as flat closures, spherical closures, expansions or reductions.
FTC machines are programmable via a simplified half-icon operator panel.
