SMALL2E

The SMALL2E is a Fully Electric, multistack, and multiradius tube-bending machine with seven CNC axes designed to process aluminium tubes with a diameter and a thickness of up to 20 mm and 1.8 mm, respectively, with the right and left bending directions. This tube bending machine is configured with an electrical arm and the C-axis’ main transmission is directly under the bending plane. The clamping is achieved using a CNC screw transmission with recirculating balls, while the pressure die is actuated by a CNC axis with rack and pinion. The head translates orthogonally. The reconfiguration from right to left occurs through the pressure die axis in concert with a pneumatic displacement system on two fixed positions on the clamp carriage and the slide unit. The slide position blocking system prevents collisions during the unblocking phase. The machine’s main movements take place on recirculating ball bearing guides and the components’ high quality guarantees excellent overall performance and parts maximum availability. The use of this technology ensures quality, energy savings and minimal scrap, guaranteeing extremely reduced set-up/start up times . Like other machines in the Small series, SMALL2E is also extremely fast and can accommodate a broad array of accessories for every production need. The machine’s efficiency is guaranteed by the dynamics of the plane positioner which limits component damage in case of accidental collision. The ability to produce bends with CLR/DIA ratio of even lower than 0.8 makes this machine particularly suitable for sectors requiring a maximum production rates and repeatability. This tube bending machine also has a three-dimensional graphical software, the UII “User ISO Interface”,  on a 19” LCD touch screen for the operator to interact intuitively with the machine to program, simulate, and optimise the tube bending programs. The SMALL2E is designed to integrate into Smart Factory systems.
